ABOUT

The TLC Seminar on Cross Examination will introduce you to TLC’s advanced cross exam methods including the “soft cross” and “controlled cross” that empower trial lawyers to tell their clients’ stories through a winning cross examination. Taught by an accomplished faculty team of TLC-trained experienced trial attorneys, as well as behavioral experts, this course will be a “hands-on” experience. You will learn TLC cross exam methods by doing, not suffering through endless lectures. Come join us and learn to turn the opposing witnesses from antagonists into witnesses whose testimony supports your case and helps you achieve justice for your clients.

LOCATION

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this course will be held via virtual Zoom classroom. While TLC’s methods are very personal and hands-on in nature, our faculty have worked diligently over the past few weeks to translate them to a virtual environment in a way that preserves the small-group, active learning environment. Zoom breakout rooms will not exceed 10 students, and TLC’s psychodramatists and communications expert Josh Karton will participate throughout each seminar.

FACULTY

All Trial Lawyers College courses are taught by graduates of the College, who volunteer their time, talents and resources to provide high-quality training not offered in any other CLE program. Because our faculty are volunteers, and are actively practicing in their respective firms, our faculty list is subject to change.

Course leaders: Kim Savo, Milton Grimes
